How much money are you looking to spend? Do you want to stay N/A or go F/I?

An engine w/ 17,000 miles is well broken in! As far as bolt-on mods, don't waste your money just yet. Your best bet with an LS is to go LS/Vtec for N/A or Turbo...and I would suggest deciding which way you want to go before buying bolt-on parts which may be of no use to you later on. What are your goals for the car? Once that is established you can begin knowing you are not wasting your money…

Well, I say lower ur car first and remember to get some nice aftermarket shocks. You can also get some nice rims if you want. And then you can go on and get the engine mods.

Yea i agree with petzride. I would also work with the suspension and then move on to the I/H/E stuff.

A GS-R, stock, will get about 15.7 on the 1/4 mi... An LS is probably in the 17s somewhere. If you want to get to mid-14's, it'll take some work. A fairly good turbo setup plus wheels should be able to get you there for probably the least amount of money and work. You could go with a really worked-up LS/VTEC setup, but that's a more expensive means to (roughly) the same end.

RS, LS, GS, SE 4spd. Automatic = 16.8

RS, LS, GS, SE 5spd. Manual = 16.1

GS-R = 15.5

Type-R = 14.7

Bolt-ons alone are not going to get you to 14.5.
