Ford Courier (1972-1982) Replaced By Ranger
I started a thread about Ford Couriers, but I never really got a lot of responses. I am therefore, starting this new thread in hopes that I can generate some interest about this truck. Please respond to this thread if you have anything at all to say about Ford Couriers. Maybe you had one? Maybe you know someone who had one? Maybe you have something to say about one?

You may try over on the Mazda forum. The Courier and B2000 were cut from the same cloth in the late 70's early '80's.

Mazda B1600, B1800 & B2000
I have already tried over at the Mazda forum. The Mazda B1600, B1800 & B2000 Sundowner were rebadged Couriers, or visa versa. I think someone might eventually reply to this thread with something to say about the Ford Couriers.

I have a Ford Courier '99 model turbo diesel and have already posted a thread on the failure of the heater core in this model. Do the models in US have the same names as in Australia? They are a common workhorse over here and are used by most of the tradesmen.

Quote:
I currently own an original 1972 Courier with 30K miles. The carb. system was complex and junk, replaced with Weber carb. Currently having troubles with clutches lasting only a couple thousand miles, otherwise it's in pretty nice shape.....Mark ps,some of the lug nuts are left-hand threads too!!!!!! |
