Transmission Question
What up forum,
I'm new here and I wanted to know if anyone can answer my question. I have a mazda mx6 and I'd like to drop the tranny and replace it. Has anyone replaced the tranny on a mx6 is it hard, easy what can i expect. Does anyone out there know a good site for this type of info. i wouldnt recommend doing it yourself unless you have a lift, proper tools, and are absolutely sure of what you are doing

You have to unbolt everything from the engine. Exhaust, Braces, Brackets, Mounts, CV, etc..
Then, carefulle lower the right side of the engine down, tranny side. Watch carefully though because the IM will crush things along the firewall if you don't do it right. |
