Question Hear anything bad about 03 Ion??

Hello I'm just purchasing an Ion 03, Just wondering if anyone had heard anything bad about them, their problems or anything like that.
I would appreciate any comments that people have about them

Thanks

Maybe the auto transmission shift flare is all I know. They dropped it for a 4 speed automatic that's in most GM cars. The manual transmission version is a better fun to drive than auto. You'll hit yourself if you don't. That's my opinion... www.saturnfans.com know more than I do so check that site out.

Re: Hear anything bad about 03 Ion??

I should've changed my nickname to syphrus now...

My mistake is not getting the manual tranny on my 04 saturn ion qc2. But found a way to get the VTi to react like a 3/4 speed auto. When I accelerate until my rpm reaches 5,500/6,000 rpm then drops to 4,000 rpm, I refloor it to 5,500/6,000 rpm until I reach a curtain speed. This way I can keep within my powerband.
