Cobalt madness.

Had a kickass time with some of the local Cobalt owners here in Az. We took a nice drive through some twisties, then stopped for lunch.

Here's the link to the Cobalt forums...check it out if you're interested. Some pretty cool pics, props to the camera guys.

Edit: New video to come soon, but here's a clip from the last small GTG.

The stock wheels look good though IMO. Massive props to the camera guy for the great pics.

Re: Cobalt madness.

Did you have a Mexican guy there named Eric? He's an old co-worker from my old dept here at my company. He has a black one with the two-tone black/red interior.

He's off today, so I couldn't ask him.

Edit: nevermind. Eric is at work, and I'm just chatting with him. A lot of those pics are from his camera, and I saw him in one of the pics, lol.

It's cause there really isn't anything to change to. One chick on ss.net bought a set of 16'' alloys that look pretty nice for winter use. These are the only wheels that I've seen that looked halfway desent, but they are only 16''. As soon as some companies come out with some new wheels most of the Cobalt community will change over as we are all tired of our heavy and mundane stockers.

We didn't really get any Cobalt vs. Cobalt action in this run(it's kinda boring to watch Cobalts go at it one after another) but we did get some awesome video through the canyons we went through. We will however get some good racing action in sooner or later here, so you guys can look forward to a nice video one of these days. I'll keep ya posted on when.

Eric, along with everyone from the Az Cobalt community that I have met so far turned out to be very friendly. He also did some great work with his camera. You should point him to the AF some time.

That's funny that you know him personally. Every day I'm surprised at how many people I bump into that know other people that I know in the auto world.

Re: Cobalt madness.

lol sorry to do this to you bulldog, but it is kinda funny.

It was actually a very nice write-up and they also liked the Scion tC. Just not exactly the kind of press a Cobalt owner would want though i think.

Meh, don't bug me none that the funny guys like the car. Plus I've got two vehicles that pretty much any gay guy would hate(the 71 ss and the 02 HD).

Now then, if I drove a pink Miata...
