Question Braking Issues

I bought a 2001 Chevy S-10 Pick-Up. every now and then I am getting a Stiff Break Pedal, Not all the time but maybe once in 10 to 15 break applications.

When this happens I can not get the Truck to Stop. But if I remove my foot from the pedal and reapply pressure it will Stops Fine.

Concerned for Sudden stopping. can any one advise me please.

Can anyone advise me of what to look for?

Thank You

Re: Breaking Issues

Does the pedal shudder under your foot. Or is just sort of rock hard.?

Re: Breaking Issues

Find the abs fuse and remove it, no harm, it just disables the abs, so careful on slippery roads. See if the problem goes away.
