alpine cda9851 vs 9830

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-zvcG2RV...0&I=500CDA9830

vs

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-DLnMnId...0&I=500CDA9851

there will be subs and components hooked up to it
i do use a lot of mp3s both are mp3 compatable the 9851 says something about being very fit for mp3 play.
the 9851 has 2v outputs as compared to the 9830s 4v output

i just can't decide

there's only like a $10 price difference

Re: alpine cda9851 vs 9830

if theres not that big of a price difference and you plan to have multiple amps hooked up, i would definitly go with the 9830.
the 9830 has much better features for tuning such as the EQ, and youll most likey have better SQ, with the 4v outputs.

i think the 9851 looks better though, but not by much. i generally like the alpine headunits

Re: alpine cda9851 vs 9830

definatly mutiple amps..
I was thinking the 9830 also its been known to be a very good hu. the newer 9851 does look a little nicer and may be for tuned toward mp3 play.

the 9830 beats the 9851 in flexibility, but the 9851 beats the 9830 in looks, up to you, i'd pick the 9853 instead

Re: alpine cda9851 vs 9830

I'm looking in the 250 range.
I did however find out that the site i was going to pick up the 30 from no longer carries them.
so now i'm looking at the 33 or perhaps the 53 if i can find one for cheap
the 9833's are in the 250 range though
