Question 1994 Chevy S-10 Blazer Fuse Diagram

Hi. I just ran across this forum while I was looking for a fuse diagram on a 1994 Chevy S-10 Blazer. I changed a fuse a couple of months ago that worked the dome light and the horn, and it has blown again. Also, I'm wondering if maybe my driver's side window not working is a fuse problem as well. Actually, there seems to be a lot of electrical problems here lately. The dome light and horn I know are fuses, as it's already been replaced once. But the driver's side front window stopped working again. When I bought the truck in February, the window only rolled down or up about a half inch at a time. I bought a new window motor and had it installed and the window worked great for about 2 months, then stopped working all together. Then, last week, it all of a sudden decided to start working again, a little sluggishly, but working none the less. But yesterday, it stopped working again, and it stopped in the down position (and it's getting cold outside). Could this be a fuse problem? Also, the radio cuts in and out. If I hit a bump or the car idles high, the radio will start cutting in and out. A lot of times, you can turn it off and turn it back on and it will work again. Sometimes not. Another fuse problem maybe? The radio is the origianl factory installed radio. And does anyone know where I can find a diagram of what fuses work what things in the truck?

Re: 1994 Chevy S-10 Blazer Fuse Diagram

First of all, your horn and dome light sounds like you have a short somewhere causing your fuse to blow. As for your window. Was the motor that you installed after market or a OEM? I would stay with the OEM parts. In either case. Take the motor back from where you bought it from and have them replace it again. It sounds like it was defective. When you replace the motor. You want to make sure that the window tracks and scissor assembly are in good working condition. Everything should move freely. If there is to much restriction. It will cause the motor to over heat and only move the glass a little bit at a time as in your case. As for you radio. It sounds like it time to just replace it. You probably got corrosion setting in on the control switch that will cause it to go off and on when you bump it. I through mine away a long time ago. That year wasn't GM's best year for car stereo's. I went and bought a Pioneer.

Thanks

Cool... The fuse thing, I'll have my uncle look at that next time I'm down his way (I am completely stupid when it comes to fixing cars, I can check the fluids, add oil, air and gas.. that's about it). The motor is probably not an OEM... I got it at Advanced Auto Parts. And the stereo, well, I'll let my kid do that one.. lol.. it's his in February anyway. Thanks for the help.
