alarm malfunction
hey
I own a 95 1.8L golf CL and i have alwas had troubles with my alarm. It will ,about every six months, arm it self and not disarm. I used to get by by holding the key in the drivers side door and then starting the car. this would reset the alarm. Now my drivers door wont disarm the alarm even for a sec. I checked the wiring and everything looks fine. i need to bypass the alarm to start the car and hope that that resets the alarm. Can anyone help?Also could i jump start the car?

if yo take apart the drivers door and then go to the outside handle from the inside theres 3 wires, that is the alarm. cut the two red and orange ones and put the together, that bypasses the alarm, i had to do it today.
