92 Camaro RS
ok i'm having a problem with my car i bought it two weeks ago and the guy told me a few things were wrong with it. It over heats, something wrong with the fuel pressure regulator, and the hose connecting the fuel tank to the purge canister is gurgling fuel. When i start it in the morning it drives fine for about 5 minutes then it starts to dog out. If i run it maybe 20-30 minutes it will stall and has to sit for 15 to start again. The over heating was countered by putting in a switch to manually turn the fan on. So if anyone knows what is really happening here or needs more info please let me know. Thanks

Re: 92 Camaro RS
Check the car for codes first before jumping to conclusions.
The stall after heating up sounds like it could be the Ignition Module in the Distributor. Do your typical tune up stuff. Oil Change, Fuel Filter, etc... |

Ok ya i checked for codes got 43 and 54. And I did a full tune up replacing spark plugs wires distributor oil battery you know the works. And the codes say something about my esc and fuel pump. And the fuel pump is the hard part. But thanks for the suggestion. Guess ill work on it this weekend.

Re: 92 Camaro RS
I had a Code 54 also that didn't want to go away. Turned out to be the Control Module in the Distributor. Put a new one in and the car worked great for a few months, and back to it again. Turns out it was a cheap module that was the cause of all the problems. Make sure to get a Delco module if you put a new one in. Code 54 is the Ignition Module, ECM, or Fuel Pump. I'd go with the module, and ecm first since they are quickest to replace.
