Cold Weather

Has anyone had problems unlocking their car when it's cold out? My door also sticks really bad. Is there something I could do to make it easier for my key to work in the door and to keep my door from sticking? Also when it's cold I've noticed a red light come on (it has a down arrow on it with a squiggly line underneath it) it's above the ets off light. What is the light for (What does it mean?) Is it something I need to fix, or do I need to let the car warm up for five to ten minutes before I take off? Can anyone help me?

Re: Cold Weather

Its a good idea to give your car a couple minutes to warm up before you go in cold weather. As for the locks you can pick up some lock de-icer. You just squirt that shit in the lock hole and it clears it up. When the door jambs get frozen you can just bump your door with your hip, it will break some or all of the ice.

yea like thor06 said, just bump it with your hip a few times and it should open up relatively easily. as for the light i think your talking about the coolant light. check your coolant level. if its full then the problem is the sensor. mine does that too sometimes in warm and cold weather. i heard sometimes the sensor sticks. there isnt too much you can do about it unless you want to disassemble the coolant tank.
