Re: b1ba1 in del sol #2 cylinder wont fire

Maybe the cycle is fucked up and the air and fuel is not getting an adequate mixture..? Just a thought, I don't know a whole bunch about problems like this.

hmmmm... first off it's b18a1... and what did you do to change the OBD configuration? b18a1 is an OBD0 motor, and all sols are OBDI or OBDII... just curious.

Re: b1ba1 in del sol #2 cylinder wont fire

did you check the compression? on my old car it was doing the same thing, it happen to be the fact that i ran it down to 1/2 a quart of oil so many times that the cam lobes wore a hole in my lifter (solid lifter, no roller) and it wasnt even tall enough to open the intake valve... 5$ part, fixed it in 25min..damn, escorts will run forever! till the clutch blows up... oh well $200 isnt too much lost

what is the actual cel? also, you said you have fuel and spark, how and what did you actually check? misfires are not necessarily fuel and spark issues.

PS: specific cylinder misfires are ususally fuel and spark issues though.

do a compression test if thats the problem. if not it has to do with your valves. And not having the adequete Air/Fuel mix 14.6 in the combustion chamber.

i highly doubt he has a wideband to take measurements. assuming his setup is pretty much stock, i dont think he has much to worry concerning his AFRs.
