re: battery light 3500 rpm

Thanks for the responces, the alt. went out in the middle of heavy freeway traffic, when it did go it blew the fuel injector fuse. Why I don't know. change the fuse and got to work, with battery light on. The fuse has not blown since. change the alt. But now it idle high, but settles above 1100 rpm, even the auto trans, it sometimes goes to 800 rpm. in gear and stopped. Before it went, it coasted, when the gas is let off on the freeway now it act it has engine braking, never had this before.
Any ideas, thank you
