Smile RETIRING OUR 97 BLAZER 4x4

Well the time has come to retire our 97 Blazer 4x4. It has been a good truck that we have used hard for 3.5 years. Bought it with 87,000 miles & it now has 170,000 miles.
It was drove to the pasture today. It is time to use our 98 Jeep Limited 5.9. It has been sitting for two years & now it is time to get it out of the barn & start using it.
Anyway, I'll check in from time to time & see how things are.

WHY? AT 170k IT IS JUST GETTING WARMED UP. Park the Jeep and drive the Blazer.

Re: RETIRING OUR 97 BLAZER 4x4

Yea, I'm kind of interested as well, since I have a '96 4dr that still looks great, runs and drives nice, and has 161k on it. So what were the reasons? It certainly wasn't for improved fuel economy with that Chrysler 360! (I have that same engine in my '02 2500. Great engine, but a hungry little pig!) And what do you mean by 'out to pasture'? Did you sell it, junk it, donate it? C'mon, read the forum rules, you can't leave us hanging like that!
