Need help with wiring H-3 Bulbs in as Fog lights...
Well I just picked up a set of H3 projectors off E-Bay and am trying to figure out how the hell you wire these things? the bulb has one wire coming off it, nad the other wire of the filiment is soldered to the metal base so as to ground out whien installed. I assume that the one wire is for 12v Positive? the housings have asingle wire coming off them and I thought that it would be Neg,but if I hook them up like that no light, but sparks off the wires. what the heck am I doing wrong?
here is a pic of the bulb.... Linkey For Bulb For the love of god some one help me!! Mike

yes. the wiring comin off te bulb is positive. you'll also have to make an adapter because the foglight in the car has a different splicing tip on it than the aftermarket bulb. make sure you insulate everything with plenty of electrical tape because mine shorted out on me this weekend and it caused a minor electical fire! you'll see what im talking about when you see it.
