Completed: Revell 240Z

First off... this kit was a royal pain. I started w/the engine and thought 'this won't be too bad', but that's the only time I thought that. I've never seen so many mold lines, so much flash or such crappy chrome plating. Obviously a very old tooling being used.

Pictures aren't great due to operator error. Comments and sugestions welcome.

Nice build, especially considered you encountered so many problems... Very nice!

Man, there seem to be no decent 240Z kits... I heard bad stories about all of them, even the Tamiya. Too bad for it's such a cool looking car.

Re: Completed: Revell 240Z

Did you have as much trouble as I did getting the hood to fit properly?

Yeah, the hood was a bit of a pain, but it kind of went along with the rest of the build.

I think it's a tad on the high side, but looking at the ref. pictures I had the wheel well clearances are about right and I wasn't really willing to mess with the ride height. I think the tires they used in the kit were a bit out of scale thus raising the whole thing.

Thanks for the comments everyone
