1996 sunfire/2.4 twin cam
neighbor girl bought a 96 with the 2.4twin cam and she is having a couple problems.
1.the sun roof won't re-tract.you can hear the motor but no go.
2.lots of oil leaks-how hard are most to change.lifter valley,oil pan what ever the common leaks.how involved and is it worth it?
3.has a little top end noise when she is idling,sounds horrible.might be related to #4
4.after it's warm when you try to start it I would swear it sounds out of time.I know there isn't an old fashioned distributer,so it's in the cams being lined up right,right?
I'm no idiot with tools or autos,just not familiar with this motor.so please don't suggest a shop.
