possible starter problem
Got into car a couple hours after going to the store and the car would not start. Had plenty of power, everything electric work, but no noise when the key turns.
Should I replace the starter? Would the starter just go out like that or are we overlooking something simple? Many Thanks in advance. |

Gear selector is in. Tried jiggling it and that did not work. Lights do not flicker but I don't have a volt meter. Clicks somethime then stopped but not even close to everytime I tried. Can hear the fuel pump and dash boards lights seem fine. 11/3 - Changed the starter and no luck(expensive mistake). Is there some sort of fuel cut off switch some where? Or is their a way I can check the ignition switch without taking it to the shop? Regards, Brelley |
