I have a 2000 Olds Alero with about 90,000 miles on it.
Yesterday I went to roll down the passenger side front window (power windows) and it wouldn't roll down. We were however able to roll it down using the driver's side switch. Then after I jiggled the passenger side switch for a sec I was able to get it down. Now today... the driver's side switch for the driver's side window is not working. Could I just need a new circuit breaker (to replace in the fuse box on passenger side) or what the heck could be wrong? Thanks! Lindsay |

Re: Power Window Help
You can check to make sure the PWR WNDW circuit breaker in the passenger side fuse block didn't pop. It it did just reset it. However, if any of the windows are working the circuit breaker is OK because it feeds 12v to both driver and passenger side windows.
Start with the simpler items like the power window switches. The switches and motor/regulators are common problem areas in Aleros.
