Goodbye Countach hello Diablo

When I bought the Countach 4+ years ago I thought it would be for a lifetime of ownership. However the opportunity to purchase a superb Diablo came my way, and the Countach had to go.

I've put a few photos of the new beastie on my website for anyone who is interested.

Diablo photos

Here's a taster for anyone who's not fussed.

Yes indeedy. As stated in the post above, there are more photos on my website.

Shortly going to undertake a trip to the factory with 6 other Lambos, so there should be a few more decent photos on there in a couple of weeks time.

What's the difference between the Gt and VT?

The GT is a limited production model - only 80 cars were made, all left hand drive. It has 2 wheel drive as opposed to the VT's 4 wheel drive, and the GT is slightly more powerful as well as being lighter, which makes it a bit quicker.

The dominating difference in looks is that the GT has a large single air scoop on the roof, and a scalloped bonnet/hood cover to assist air flow over the oil cooler.

That's all I can think of from the top of my head. HTH

Re: Goodbye Countach hello Diablo

Also some of the earlyer VT's were only 5.7 lt, but the GT's in the same range were 6 from memory, the later VT's were given the 6.0's by 1999-2000 for the models in those years.

GT's have an intake on the top of the roof too and a slightly different body kit.
