Paint touch-ups

I just recently started detailing cars. I just picked up a car for a friend and the paint is pretty bad. There are chips, light scratches, deep scratches, and dull paint. What would you guys recommend me using/doing to help out his paint. He has a blue 96 honda civic if that helps.
