well my dad decided he wanted a new car so we went and bought a 2000 GLE. it's black on black with wood grain & leather, auto w/ tcs, dual power seats, gold emblems, bose stereo, 17" rims(i think), 27,000 miles and we got it for $14,000 + the 93 with 160,000 miles as a trade. i'll put pics up tomorrow. this makes our 4th maxima. damn we love our nissans.

My family also has four maxima's. I have a 98, Mom has a 2K3, Brother has 96 & 89. The 89 needs a new engine though. Our house looks like a nissan dealership.

Congrats man, the GLE is the top of the line as far as luxury, I'm not really one for the gold but it goes along with the GLE luxury theme. 4 Maximas, looks like I got some catching up to do.

The first time I saw a Black 2000 Max way back when, I just about shit myself. Definitely a good catch. Way to kepp it in the Maxima family!

sorry if they're a little grainy or dull, it was dusk and i was catchin' bad glare. oh, and it definitely doesn't have 17"s, i guess 16". and i'm not too thrilled with the all red tail lights. i was gonna trade my euro style for his if he had gotten the smoked ones. oh well.

Whats going on man, ive been away for awile now. I still have the Max but its out of commision due to an accident last week. Some ass made a U-turn without looking to see if another driver (me) was coming and we crashed. $2000 worth of damage. I'm pisses because thats my little toy.
I bought a 2002 Impala for the Shaw but thats for rolling purposes only. Oh yea it has the 20 inch shoes to go with it.

N-E-ways, here's what new, oh, almost forgot, congrats on the new whip and 20" shoes, must be nice to hit the lotto

Here's the lo-lo, first off, as you see BP's pops has got a new Max, guess BP rubbed off on him, I bought a 2k3 Max and still got my 2k. We got a ton of new members here, Ceasar been killin em at the track.
So far I got jacked on some Tein springs along with Moe Dog but Pete is helping us out on that.

Just another day at Maxima forums.

I hate those damn GXE/GLE all red taillights, they like like total ass IMO. I was thinking about smokes for mine too, but I think overall they don't really look that much better...plus, I get tons of compliments on the euros from the ricers, cause that's all they see.

I'm gonna be active again, its just the time factor. I stay with my girl and our daughter now and the computer is still here at mom and pops house so....................... Oh BK2, I didn't dump nissan either I got the Impala because I got a good deal on it and its roomy as hell for the family. When my girl starts working, I'm gonna let her roll that and I plan on getting another Max. Hows the 2k3 coming along. Please tell me you got the intake going?

yeah, i'm still here. i was wondering where you disappeared to. not too much has changed on my end.

as for the pics, what i do is right click on the picture file and go to "open with" then choose MS paint. then in paint, press control-W and then just resize it with the percentage bars that come up under "stretch"

I knew deep down inside that you didn't dump Nissan but I figured that you probably were gone away for so long due to the baby and that you might have bought a 2k4 Max. For some reason or the other I kept thinking you'd go that route, maybe it was that picture in your sig.

The 2k3 is off da chain, I love this whip, I'm still waiting on my springs to come in and I haven't had time to take it to get the tintz yet but the 18's, bra (top only), FSTB along with the springs and GAB mod are all going on at the same time.

I'll probably end up buying a Frankencar intake but right now, the dough is low due to other things that came up but I'll be moving to Puerto Rico in July so I'll wait til I get there and settled before the intake mod comes into place.
