I'm assuming you're looking for suggestions on a somewhat easy/hassle free kit to build, preferably of a car built in somewhere between 1930-1950? I haven't built much from that era, but both AMT and Revell have a wide selection to choose from. I personally was always a big fan of AMT's 1949 Mercury.

like said above AMT and Revell is where your gonna hafta do your search. also, Galaxie LTD did a fantastic 48 Chevy. they did two versions. a sedan delivery, and an aerosedan. These are prohibably the best kit from that era. kinda pricey though, about 30 bucks. but this kit is better then Tamiya quality.

Is the 48 Chevy by Galaxie an uncomplicated build?
I prefer a simple build without a lot of parts or tricky assemblies. That is, something straightforward is probably the best way to go.
