Completed: Quicky '69 Hurst/Olds 455

So I decided to try what a few of you guys suggested when you're beating yourself up over a project (in my case, the Mustang for the Drag Car Contest ) and just toss a kit together. This came in one of those big 3-model-kits-in-1 AMT box along with the '69 Barracuda I posted earlier, and a '69 Ford Cobra. This is also the first car I've ever painted white... it took three tries ... still not a perfect paint job, but the whole point is to make it a quick throw-together project right? I didn't even wire the engine. It feels... oddly liberating. Looks good from a couple feet away anyways.

I still have to do a few minor details like the marker lights...

For some reason white (and yellow) always give me trouble, too. Looks good from here, though.

Sometimes it is nice to just finish a #$#@ model instead of obsessing over details that no one will ever see.
