lude si vs. 3000gt sl

well im on my way home from this girls house around 11:45, once again on 301 in waldorf, md. i pull up on this black 3000gt with exhaust and wheels( think all that he had) and i blow by him jus because im speedin home to not break curfew. lol.

anyways light turns red and he pulls up on teh rigth of me at the red and the lighthits green be fore either of us stop. i hear him hit WOT and i hit it from about 10 mph roll. stayed even until 3rd gear and 4th gear where i gain about a car and 1/2 on him. shut it down around 95. about 400 yrds ahead is anotehr red light.

we stop and he asks me what i have done. i tell him jus bolt ons and his buddy is jus like damn dude(to the driver). so he says alrite oen more time. im liek ok. red ghanges to green. i spin way too much and dont fether teh clutch right. he gains a good half car on me in 1st. i hit 2nd and pull slowly, shift to third and get even. shift to 4th round 75 and instantly pull a half car. shut it down round 110 and had about 3/4 of a car by the end. slowed down gave him a thumbs up and sped right back up tryin to get home.
i know those things put down some power, but who they r some heavy bitches. oh yea did this after fillin up this afternoon, so i was plesantly surprised. i love my SI, but i cant wait to see what an h22 can get me. can u say transmission ecu and engine for 500$. freinds r a beautiful thing

a zx2

your talkin about an escort spankin SI ludes. ive seen it before but once was a turbo escort that actually is not bad at all, good stylin, but nothin stupid, and teh other was when the lude had a bad O2 sensor and a clogged cat. u must have raced some unhealty ludes either that or they cant drive. sorry but u have wat the 2 liter zetec with 130 hp and 135lb/ft. my boy with a focus zx3, i belive same engine, has this with mods and he stripped it down pretty nicely, weighs 2450 i think and its not bad off the line, but once i hit 3rd gear i pull on him badly. o well and to answer yoru question, intake, headers(dont help at all), and a high flow cat.

VR4's r sick machines.

edit: your run a 16.8 and healthy lude SI's are capable of high to mid 15's but hardly seen: mostly high 15's low 16's.
