1995 TS Won't Start

Ok here are the basics....
1995 Pontiac Trans Sport
3.8, Auto, A/C, P/W, P/L

A little bit ago, my wife was driving the van and ran it out of gas. I got gas adn it fired right up and ran for about 2 weeks. Now the dang thing won't start. I checked all the fuses in the glove box. It does turn over but just wont fire up. It came close once but nothing. Is there a impact cut off switch that might have gotten tripped? Or is there someting else that i should look for also. im planning on changing the fuel filter to see if it might have goten clogged from being run dry. is there a chance that the fuel pump burnt out? it is in the tank or a external one.
