Remote Start

When i lift up the hood or my car it says "This vehicle is equipped with a remote starting device" …………… How do I find out how I can get the remoter start to work ? On the remote keyless entry I don’t have the option for remote start.

Lift the hood, look down at the bottom of the latch assy, is there a wire harness, if no you don't have it.

I think this might be aftermarket system though - they might not worry as much that hood is shut - this isn't a 2004-6 Malibu, correct, swinsoneric?

Factory Malibu remote starting came in 04, yours would have to be after market. Know nothing about that.
