Idle air control motor
I have a 94 mustang GT, wondering where is the IAC located? The car shakes erractically, when driving or idling on drive sometimes it looks like it wants to shut down, when this happens I have to accelerate high in order to prevent it from turning off. Any ideas?? Changed my plug, wires should be good replaced them last september, I figure they still have lots of live left. Have a feeling it may be the IAC please someone confirm.[/font]

Re: Idle air control motor
the iac is located on the throttle body's side closest to the radiator. it is cylindrical and it kind of looks like a handle. new ones run about 70 bucks.

Re: Idle air control motor
Just FYI. Sometimes buying the part you need will help you locate the part on the vehicle, as well as help you to see or understand how to remove and or replace the part. Some parts can be confusing or have hidden bolts ect. Just thought this may help you out if you plan on replacing the part anyways. Good luck.
