air ride suspension-worth the $$$?

I've Been Thinking About Getting An Air Ride Suspension Set Up On My 95 Civic Coupe. I Am Wondering If It Is Worth Putting The Couple Thousand Dollars Into It. I've Done Some Research And Air Ride Technologies Seems To Be The Company To Go With-expensive, But You Get What You Pay For And It Is Pretty Much All Bolt On. I Am Wondering How Much Range You Have-can You Go Above Stock Height When The Bags, Or Air Struts, Are Fully Inflated? Anybody That Has Experience With Air Suspension Please Put Your 2 Cents In.

Re: air ride suspension-worth the $$$?

You can go like an inch higher then stock and about as low still it hits the ground but your car will go badly out of alinment and the tires will wear fast and on only on side, and there is no way to fix it, bags or stricktly show you can race in them cause of the massive body roll but the looks are probally worth it

Forhandling, air-suspension is the worst to get. For one they are meant only for show, not daily driving. Also and sort of cornering or handling on them will pop the bags eventually. So unless your car is a show car, then save some $$$ and get a true full coilover setup, more worthwhile and they are still adjustable for height.
