need help in buying an integra.. too pricey?

hey, my buddy wants to buy an integra;
- 95 gsr
- 88K miles
- ALL stock
- stick shift (if y'all didnt know that all GSRs are already..)
- clean
- got minor dings + scratches here and there, nothing too serious/noticable
- black exterior
- black interior w/ leather
- asking for $8250
is that a good deal? to me, it's pretty nice, but most of his friends who own integras are telling him that the engine only last up to and around 100K, is that true? it would be really helpful if someone responded, thanks a lot for reading this!

sounds like a pretty good price to me. maybe try to talk em down a little. kbb.com says around 7200..so you might want to look around if they wont drop the price.

and most of your friends who own integras who say they are only good for 100k dont really own integras...either that or you got some stupid friends...ive got a friend with a 89 crx with 383,000 (give or take a couple hundred) on the original engine. hondas last forever. they are unstopable. get some new friends, and tell that kid to buy the integra.

thats not too bad of a price. it also depends on where you live because of market trends/conditions. and i will throw a second on your friends not having a damned clue. the only honda engine that wont make it to 100K is the one that the dumbshit blew 24psi and a 250 shot through as a daily driver.

tell him to get the teg, he'll love it.

i was exaggerating to prove a point that Honda engines are in it for the long haul. of course no one would be able to push 24 psi on stock internals.........

Wow thats a pretty good price! People here in CA sell their Integras way more than that! Even when it's a GS-R!
