K&N cold air intake cleaning
How often do you clean the filter in a K&N cold air intake?
Tried to find a threadrelated to this but could not so sorry if it is already out there. Thanks |

Re: K&N cold air intake cleaning
If it's the one that comes stock in blazer's like the "Xtreme" than it's every 50K or less depending upon how dirty it is. I'm not sure about the true cold-air intakes. Peace-

Re: K&N cold air intake cleaning
It would be for an aftermarket that requires the cleaning kit.
Just curious how often you use the kit to clean the filter. Thanks for the info though. |

Re: K&N cold air intake cleaning
Well there is a sticker right on mine that says, clean every 50-100K and you have to use the cleaning kit. I do mine like every 15-20K because it always seems to be pretty dirty at that point. Peace-
