Borla catback 1-1/2 yrs later...

What I have: V6 dual exhaust on for approx 33,000 mi & 1-1/2 yrs. To start off on a good note- The fitment is perfect. Ease of installation is excellent. Took about 35 min to install. Probably the quietest of all catbacks. No signs of rust anywhere. I re-torqued the clamps after 500 mi. for good mechanical practice. Recently I have noticed a hissing sound during decelleration. After putting the car up on jacks, I see that the welds on the resonator have cracked-both on the input & output. There is carbon in and around the cracks. I have never bottomed out the catback. I have contaced Borla on this. I am awating a response to see if they truly honor the "million mile" warranty.

With the exception of the cracks I am satisfied. As long as I get a replacement, I see no reason to change it.

Is that one of the welds prewelded by Borla, or is it one of the welds done by the shop that installed it for you?
