what do you use to polish a model?

what exactly is good to use to polish a model, and also do you polish before or after you clear it?

You can use Tamiya compound, it works fine. You polish after the clear coat has been put on.

I think you may have accidentally posted in the wrong forum, but no worries. Someone will eventually move it for ya.

I`ll second KTem. Also, I usually like to use a couple coats of Zaino after the Tamiya compound.

Re: what do you use to polish a model?

I personally use 2000 grit automotive grade sandpaper (from wal mart), KiT Scratch Out (also from walmart), and an old t shirt. This combination works just fine for me.

Other than that the previous posts got the question pretty well covered
