Helmet hangers?

Hey I own a 2000 triumph tt600 and i was wondering where in the hell the helmet hangers are for when you park ur bike ive looked for them and they are nowhere to be found. It is agravating when i am walking around somewhere with my helmet in hand. Any comments are helpful thanks.

Re: Helmet hangers?

never heard about helmet hangers but if you're talkin about helmet locks not all bikes come with them but you can buy them aftermarket(just go on www.froogle.com and type in motorcycle helmet locks) and mount it on your handlebars or crashbars

i never leave my helmet on the bike i've seen to many helmets go missing if it isn't bolted down they will steal it all it takes is to cut the strap. i just deal with carrying it or get a tail bag that will hold your helmet

Re: Helmet hangers?

A side note first: How many different fluids has YOUR TT600 leaked? Just teasing someone else on the site who "wised up" so to speak....

Anyhoo, I won't leave my helmet on the bike. I don't trust people enough to leave an expensive (and life-saving) piece of equipment out like that... I'm afraid someone will either steal it or will knock the bike over on it and destroy it. I'm not willing to take those chances.

Besides, carrying a helmet is a BADGE OF HONOR!!!!!

Otherwise, search ebay or froogle if you still think you want one.

Hasnt leaked anything yet but i aint had it for a long time.

I know that it is a badge of honor and i take pride in carrying it but when im walking around a mall for like 3 hours bc the people im with are dicking around the whole time, it gets more than a little old.

Thanks for all of the advice and help. I appreciate it.

Re: Helmet hangers?

i just carry my helmet with me, it's a pain sometimes but it 1)keeps the helmet from getting stolen, 2)explains why my hair's all messed up and 3) it kinda looks cool
