2000 Blazer Without Keyless Entry

Hi, i have a 2000 blazer without keyless entry, now I have a freind who works at a junk yard and pulled a keyless entry module from some other GM car and I wanted to know if anyone knows if this will work in my car, here is the module number:
GM # 16254825

You would also need that section of the body harness.
