Re: Jetta

because volkswagens are the shit! thats beautiful lemorris! Not that I am worthy of critiqing such quality, but to me the back wheel and wheel well look a little bit small. Also i think the theres to big a difference in the tint on the windshield vs the side windows. or atleast have the passenger side window tint show just a tad from the inside. y'know what im sayin?

Don't get me wrong, beautiful beautiful work, you have much talent , I used to be on here all the time and great to come back and see all this stellar work. keeeeep it up.

I draw what I'm paid to draw.

I work for a medical information systems company and I do technical illustrations as well as instructional animation and simulations.

I'm doing mostly VWs right now cause they pay me to. I have a 1958 Ragtop http://www.58vw.com and I travel in those circles.

This is one of the drawings I'm doing for our local dealership. They are putting all of my recent VW drawings in a full page ad in this Sunday's paper.

I also do all the work for our local Buick Club and I did all the Corvette club work for 2 years.

The type of car doesn't matter that much to me. Search under past posts by me and you'll find this Skyline from pencil to finish.

This Scion is on my homepage:

You'll find as you go along that you have to draw while the pen is hot. Right now these VW drawings may give me the opportunity to draw the entire Honda, Audi, and Porsche lines as the media group that hired me to draw the VWs also handles those dealerships too. Many times a company will also place an artist under contract. Greg Tedder is under contract with Chevy right now. That's all he draws and he is awesome:
http://www.tedderdesigns.com (he's in the Thom taylor book too)

I have an old school VW design up next for Southern Arizonas largest VW show. I'll be doing a Thing, a 62 sedan, the Chirco Drag bug, and a sandrail.

The customer is pretty pleased with these drawings so I gotta let myself like them this time.

Re: Jetta

couple hundred per

it's not a lot but if I end up getting 22 - 25 it turns into a nice thing. Not that 7 is bad. The visibility is worth 10 times that though. There's 750,000 people in Tucson. There's going to be a lot of people seeing the work tomorrow. I'll be able to turn it into real $$ down the road....I hope.
