Slotted Rotor direction

Hi, yall. Just bought some slotted/drilled rotors w/ axxis pads and I am not sure which direction the slots go. They are not labled left or right and it seems that the slots should go along with the flow of the wheel and pad as apposed to cutting against the pad.

When looking at the wheel, should the top of the slot be facing the back of the car while the bottom faces the front? Seems like the pads would get chewed up if the grooves were going in a clockwise direction vs counter clock.

When I orginally signed up for this site the name I wanted was unavailable. I was watching Jackass on MTV and decided on jackasssi never thinking I would have ever made more than 1 post, now look 3yrs later I'm still here with almost 5500 posts. My dad's race car back in the day was called Bull Shift and I evolved it into Bull Shifter.
