Re: buying used parts from ebay

Nope, can't say that I have. Well except when I tried buying a watch from a guy who was using Andale as a payment method. Well, stupid Andale wouldn't let me pay and the guy filed a non paying bidder charge against me, despite the multiple times I e-mailed the guy telling him it wouldn't let me pay and he just kept on sending me the same link telling me to pay there. In the end, I disputed the non paying bidder charge against me and eBay reviewed it and took the charge off of me. So, it was all good in the end. That's the only bad situation I've been in. But you can pretty much avoid having a bad experience with a seller if you just check their feedback and see if they have an outstanding amount of negative feedback.

No horror stories because I wouldn't buy any used parts off someone I don't know.

Well.............
I've bought quite a lot of Camaro parts off of Ebay (thousands of dollars worth) and never had a problem until i ran up on a seller by the name of James Blackburn he is in Tampa FL and sells under the name of "Thirdgenparts" on ebay.
eventhough they have a rating of 99% positive...........Unless you want your Anus to become mysteriously enlarged I would highly recommend steering away from that Jerk

Other than that there are some really nice folks to deal with and i have gotten good useable parts that were worth the $$ spent.

If you are in search of a wiring harness have you checked Painless Wiring to see if they have something for your application?

Re: buying used parts from ebay

Ebays good, for used parts id be careful, just look at the ratings, anything less than 100%, id reccomend not bidding.
