Laguna II boot problem

Hi all, I've got a 51 (2001) laguna sport tourer with a faulty boot.
Sometimes it works but mainly doesn't. The only way to open it is if I crawl through the back seats. Can anyone help ????

try putting some oil on key work it back and forth then oil it again and if it comes open spray the latch also..that is if thats what your talking about when you say boot...
