92 Dash Lights

Hey...I got into my car tonight and turned on the lights and none of the dash lights will come on...the overhead light will turn on but none of the lights on the guages will turn on....i just put a 1000 watt amp in my car....would that have anything to do with it....any help will be appreciated...Thanx

Check the fuse.
Check the dimmer switch.
Check the wiring behind the fuse box.

i checked the fuses and none are blown, and the dimmer switch is still good....itz gotta be the wiring.....thanx
