Angry Shaking & Skipping '97 Concorde

It seems everything about this car is going up the creek at the same time. Anybody have any suggestions re: shaking of the whole car and steering wheel during acceleration along with what seems to be a feeling of blockage of gas flow at other times. It seems like you are running out of gas and coasting but then things will pick back up for several minutes and then re-occur. I have new tires on the vehicle and it has been aligned and balanced so that is not a factor. In addition coolant and water are not staying in the resevoir very long at all. I would just say the heck with it but I cannot spare the money for a new car now. Does anybody have a clue?

when was the last time you had a tune-up on the car? If it's shaking & skipping that bad, it could bad plugs, wires, a vacuum leak, clogged fuel filter, etc. basically, the usual tune-up items needed to keep a car going could be what's wrong w/ your car.
