99 chev starting problem
have a 99 silverado wont start when cold dump a little gas down throttle body starts right up runs fine,wondering if there is a temp sensor that regulates initial shot of gas for starting

there's a service bulliten from GM regarding carbon build-up you want to look into.

How is the fuel filter and fuel pressure?
Time to get a fuel pressure gauge on it on the cold startup. Check for pressure up to specs. If it is not the injectors will not squirt fuel on a cold start. You have got to have the full fuel pressure. Do not leave home without it. Post back fuel pressure with eng sise and engine code MT-2500 |
