Synthetic tranny & gear oil

Is it worth the cost to use synthetic tranny & gear oil in my 99 Blazer? I already use Mobil 1. I live in the Northeast. I saw a show that put all synthetics in a Camaro and got better gas mileage and horse power.

chuckles... call the dealer, some vehicals REQUIRE synthetic to be used as gear oil, and if manual tranny, call the dealer back and ask if its suppose to be earl (engin oil) ATF or gear lube, and if syntheic is reccomended
