Grille color?
The 2001 Xterra that I have had only about six weeks had signs of oxidation on the grille. I used some polishing compound which improved the situation greatly. I was under the impression the grille was grey plastic all the way through. On one spot it seemed like the paint was wearing through to nothing (that is, white plastic). Uh oh! Is there paint available for this? Any other suggestions on keeping the grille looking fresher? The rest of the X looks great, but the weathered grille makes the vehicle look older than it's age. Thanks for any help!

Re: Grille color?
Get some plastic spray paint and reshoot it. Or I paid $35 for a new one after a minor boo boo.

I am having the same problem as you. Exactly what polishing compound did you purchase? I want to at least try that before I go out and buy a new one.
