1999 chevy malibu long crank time
i have a 1999 chevy malibu, over 100 k on it
sometimes, it will crank for a long time before it will start its been happening in the warm weather. anyone have this problem or maybe know a possible issue with this engine, maybe a crank position sensor, possibly

First thing I would do is give it a good tune up. Change the air/fuel filter, plugs and wires. If this doesn't help then you may want to verify your fuel pressure. Your pump may be going bad on you.

im a mechanic, i work for a german car company, and have no acess to gm wiring diagrams for any kind of info. rather than have to catch the problem as soon as it happens and then start cheking all the checks,i want see if there are any common or known problems, with this car ,
such as the infamous, leaking intake mainfod gaskets,,,
