How long to wait until decaling body?

Just painted a kit yesterday and was wondering how long I had to wait until I can start decaling it? Thanks.

You should have started right after you put the last coat on.....or was it wait at least a week....dammit, can't remember.

Use the search feature though, I know they've discussed it here before.

Wow it's totally wrong. It's the Clear coat that need to be put in less than 6 hours or after 3 weeks. Not Decals

Decal can't be applied before 2 or 3 days (3 days is safe)
If you want to polish the paint, then you will have to wait 1 week.

And how long to put on the clear coat after you put your decals on?
