Need instructions on how to replace MAP sensor on 96 accord!!...PLEASE!!!

I need to replace the MAP sensor on a 96 Honda Accord, 2.2L.

Can someone please give me as close to step-by-step instructions on how to do this. My sister-in-law is going to be bringing me the car and I'm not familiar with Hondas. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated...

Also, just to be sure, the computer code (P0108 Manifold Absolute Pressure) is what I'm going by. Is it pretty safe to say that when that code come out that it truly is the MAP? Or, could something else cause that code?
Just checking.

Any quick responses would be greatly appreciated. Thanks..

I guess nobody wants to help today, I'll try. The MAP I believe to be on the back of the intake manifold. Could be on the firewall. My picture of it is very small.

There should be a vacuum hose and a connector. Unless the vacuum line is the intake manifold.(Where it is bolted to it).

You should be able to unbolt it and swap good for bad. It's pretty straight forward, and easy.

If there is a vacuum hose to it inspect it for cracks. This might be all you need to replace. Good luck!

On some honda's you can pull the flasher fuse for 10 seconds
On ALL honda's you can disconnect the battery (+) for 10 seconds

If you do the battery, of course you will lose all the radio presets
Also if you plan to do a smog make sure to drive it for a couple of days before you do to reset the computers monitors. They will cause you to fail..

Good luck to you,

SH
