Buyers remorse

I am very dissatisfied with my 2004 Tundra. 4dr limited.

1. Brakes...when stopping the brakes bind the suspension or something but when you let off the brake the whole truck pops.
2. Engine misses on hard acceleration
3. Differential feels like you are driving over a washboard on cold start and rr tire spins (squeals) during a hard right turn
4. Horrible rattle in the left front .."cannot duplicate"
5. The transmission causes the truck to leap forward when sitting still with the brakes applied
I think Toyota needs to stick to the small, run it to death trucks and stay out of the big truck market.
Should have bought American on this one!

Re: Buyers remorse

It's too bad you arn't happy.

I think i can help on a few

1. If you get like a thump as you stop/ as the weight settles to the rear it usually the propeller shaft/driveshaft that needs to be lubricated. Link

3. Sounds like you have an open rear differential. Better tires than stock help, but a limited slip is the best bet.

5. I have the same problem. I think its the air thats still in my brake lines. No one else bleeds them well, so i'll do it myself eventually.
