93 cavalier wont start

i have a 93 cavalier that wont stay running. I ran out of gas,when i filled it. It wouldnt start. Later it fired rite up and idled fine. when i go to drive it straight Dies. seems like when i accelerate it cuts off.
fuel pump is fairly new (3 mos) filter is good everything is clean (now)
so i check spark, its interm. & weak changed coils Again idles fine,give it gas Dead. it may try to want to start 1 or 2 timesaftre that. but if i wait hrs it starts all over again . Please help Im stumpped
i did check wires 4 shorts & found the injector elec.plug wires to be showing and poss.touching each other .any poss.damage there?
