1997 park avenue

i recently bought a 1997 park avenue and it shifts hard and i can fill the hard drive but after it picks up it drives smooth i was told it was the front mount i bought it and it still drives the same and now i was told it is the rear transmission mount do u think replacing this will solve the problem

I could see if your problem was a vibration, yeah. But if it's shifting hard that leads me to believe that it's something within the transmission, especially since we get these problems all the time where i work and it's usually a valve body. Do you have MIL's?

I did the same exact thing, I changed the mount still shifts hard, more when it is hot and I am in traffic. My car also vibrates at 75, I have replaced and balanced all the tires and it seemed to help a little. Any suggestions?
